December/January LMT Updates

The Lower Makefield Board of Supervisors reorganized and below is current status. Matt Ross’s term on the Board of Supervisors began after being elected in November. He was formerly on the Yardley Borough Council but now lives in LMT.

Kyle Anderson was elected as LMT Auditor. The other two LMT Auditors are Keith DosSantos and James Driscoll.

Chair Lewis has begun his tenure by moving public comment to the beginning of the meeting rather than the end.

In the last few meetings a few things have happened.

The Board approved the hiring of Cohen Law Group to represent the township at the Zoning Hearing Board meeting for the Verizon Cell Tower. At this time there is no date scheduled for this.

The Board approved the Point Development at Edgewood Village. To read more on the specific discussion you can access the minutes here and pages 25-35 cover this development.

The BOS approved the Patterson Farm Master Plan.

The Board of Supervisors approved a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policy for the Township.

The Board is advertising a new ordinance in regards to fireworks.
